Time Magazine has named the architects of artificial intelligence as its 2025 "Person of the Year," recognising the creators of technology that is reshaping the world. Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs says their work is both "wowing and worrying humanity." The edition examines AI's rapid rise.from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's chip-powered boom to concerns over safety, including a US family's lawsuit against OpenAI after their teenage son's death. Time has also partnered with AI firms, signing a multi-year content deal with OpenAI last year. Past honourees include Taylor Swift, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
