The uMkhonto Wesizwe party in KwaZulu-Natal is pushing ahead with its attempts to oust Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli.

The party says it's confident that its upcoming motion of no-confidence against Ntuli will garner enough support to succeed.

The KZN legislature is expected to debate the motion next week on Monday.

SABC News senior reporter Simphiwe Makhanya and video journalist Nathi Mzimela compiled this report.

For more on the motion of no confidence, we are joined by Political Analysts Professor Sipho Seepe and Bhekisisa Mncube.
