Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo say more than 400 civilians have been killed in recent clashes between government forces and M23 rebels in the eastern South Kivu province.
It comes a week after the presidents of the DRC and Rwanda sign a US-brokered peace deal in Washington, DC.
