A young artist, who lives on the streets of Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, will get a rare opportunity to showcase his work in a formal setting this weekend.
Eighteen-year-old Simamkele Mani Mani's art was spotted by a local filmmaker, who organised an art exhibition for him.
His work will be displayed at the Athenaeum Art Centre in Gqeberha today, accompanied by performances, to raise funds for his basic needs and assist him to go back to school.
