City of Ekurhuleni is expected to decide EMPD deputy chief, brigadier Julius Mkhwanazi's, fate. A report from an internal investigation is expected to be tabled before council after an urgent motion to place the deputy chief on precautionary suspension was placed on hoild last month. Allegations against Julius Mkhwanazi is that he facilitated the illegal transfer of city-owned vehicles-specifically those equipped with blue lights-to attempted murder accused Vusimuzi Matlala's company.
