In Rwanda, predictable rains have become scarce, and farmers still need to water their crops. A high tech solar power plant developed by USAID and Rwandan engineers has allowed expensive diesel water pumps to be replaced with solar pumps. Now, this climate smart method has allowed farmers to save costs on fuel, and farm mor efficiently.
