Fighting between Cambodia and Thailand has escalated, as both countries vow to defend their sovereignty without backing down. The clashes, which started on Monday, are the fiercest since a five-day exchange of rockets and heavy artillery in July, which killed at least 48 people and displaced around three hundred thousand.
