Former deputy minister of transport Dikeledi Magadzi has been laid to rest in a special provincial official category two funeral in Polokwane.
Magadzi died last week after succumbing to illness at the age of 70.
Scores of mourners including family, friends as well as some senior dignitaries from the ANC and the ANC Women's League gathered at a municipal hall to bid her farewell.
Magadzi was described by many as a visionary who led with compassion.
