Freed schoolboys arrive in Nigeria’s Katsina week after abduction

Published
After a week-long ordeal, more than 300 students kidnapped from a school in northwest Nigeria are free and back in Katsina state.
Details of their rescue are still not clear - including who was responsible and whether a ransom was paid. Some of the boys say they were beaten daily by their captors.
They are now in the city of Katsina, undergoing medical checks before being reunited with their families.
Al Jazeera's Ahmed Idris reports from the city of Katsina.
