The weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of November 2025 is a historic one, as South Africa hosts the first-ever G20 Summit in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.

It marks the first time that this global gathering of major economies takes place on African soil.

As a build-up to this historic moment, the SABC, as a host broadcaster, will bring you 24 hours of G20-focused content in the country's languages through its SABC News Live Pop-up channel on SABC + its fastest-growing app from November 17-23, 2025.
