Gqeberha police investigating the murder of eight people in separate incidents

Gqeberha police are investigating the murder of eight people in seperate incidents in the Walmer township between Sunday and Tuesday.

In a statement the provincial police allege that a 39-year-old man was shot and killed at Mankazana Street on the 14th of December, while three other bodies were found in Airport valley in Walmer with several gunshot wounds.

The deceased are a 37-year-old male and two females ages 17 and 28.

Police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawisa added that they are further investigating the four murders that happened at this township last night.
