Some residents in Ga-Sekororo, outside Tzaneen in Limpopo, have been battered by persistent heavy rainfall over the past few hours. Several low-lying bridges are overflowing, raising concerns about access, safety and mobility in the area.

We now cross live to Kanana in Limpopo, where Ward 14 councillor in the Maruleng Municipality, Taola Shai, has been monitoring conditions closely ahead of schools reopening tomorrow.

Councillor Shai, thank you for joining us.
