The N3 toll road and other major routes in KwaZulu-Natal are experiencing heavy traffic volumes as holidaymakers make their way home.
Between one and two this afternoon, close to two-thousand cars were recorded travelling in a northerly direction towards Gauteng at the Mooi River Toll Plaza at Mooi River.
While the southbound traffic also picked up and close to one thousand cars were recorded travelling towards Durban.
