Civil society movements in Kimberley, Northern Cape picketed outside Premier Zamani Saul's office demanding an end to high food costs, cut in VAT on essential supplies and an end to corruption.

Members of the South Africa Transforming Towards an Inclusive Society gave the provincial government five days to address their demands.
