The Lebombo Border Post commander, Moeketsi Masoleng, says the port of entry is well capacitated for any eventuality on this last day of 2025. Masoleng says it's all hands on deck, with the Border Management Authority officers working hand in glove with their counterparts from SAPS and SANDF. Since yesterday morning, the border post between South Africa and Mozambique processed more than 18 000 people, with the majority heading into Mozambique.
