Border Management Authority (BMA) and Mozambican authorities have ramped up operations at the Lebombo Border Post. Motorists and truck drivers have raised concerns about the congestion experienced near the Lebombo Border Post. About 300 000 travellers have crossed the Lebombo Border Post to Mozambique since the beginning of December.
Border Management Authority Commissioner Dr Mike Masiapato and Mozambique Minister of Interior Paulo Chachine implemented additional manual processing.
