Transport Minister Barbara Creecy, together with her Mozambican counterpart Joào Matlombe, have announced that the two countries will have a one-stop border to clear trucks at Lebobombo port of entry in Mpumalanga.

The establishment of this truck zone at kilometer seven in South Africa and kilometer four in Mozambique will see trucks spending less time on the queues.

The Ministers intend to reduce the waiting time from twenty-two hours to at least 5 hours.

The announcement comes following bilateral meetings between the countries at Lebombo and Ressono Garcia ports of entry.
