Longest production train in the world rolls into Saldanha Bay

The longest production train in the world rolled into the harbour town of Saldanha Bay on the Cape West Coast today. The 4-kilometre long train will do regular runs between the Sishen Mine at Kathu in the Northern Cape and Saldanha. It's part of Transnet's bid to lower business costs.
