The docufilm, "Sikelela: The Enoch Sontonga Story", is not only a cinematic and musical celebration of the life and work of South African composer, Enoch Sontonga, but it tells a story of man who wrote and composed one of the African continent's most recognised hymn and national anthem, "Nkosi Sikelela iAfrika".
Sontonga died in 1905 at an age of 35, before he was recognised for his work when elements of his hymn were incorporated in South Africa's national anthem in 1994.
The film will be screened this weekend at the Ster-Kinekor's Sandton City movie theatre.
