Former Springbok women rugby captain Lusanda Dumke has been laid to rest in Cebe village, in Centane in the Eastern Cape.

Dumke has been described by her family, friends and teammates as a bubbly, friendly and family orientated person.

She passed away on the 16th of December in East London following a lengthy illness.

Her family described her as an intergral part of the family, whose financial and moral support will be dearly missed.
