The birthplace of former statesman Nelson Mandela in Qunu, Eastern Cape, is a hive of activity as the world commemorates the 12th anniversary since the passing of the country's first democratic President.
A number of activities have been lined up by the Nelson Mandela Museum Youth and Heritage Centre to commemorate Madiba.
