The Madlanga Commission was yesterday transported to the world of intelligence, hearing claims of the CIA recruiting the King of the AmaZulu Nation and KZN Police Commissioner Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, as well as businessman Brown Mogotsi allegedly being a contact agent of crime intelligence and more.

This as Mogotsi took the stand before the probe which entered phase two of its evidence, giving implicated individuals the opportunity to respond to the allegations against them.

Mogotsi has, among other things, been placed at the centre of the allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system.
