Allegations of the embattled Police Minister Senzo Mchunu's presidential ambitions and the Hawks' interference in police investigations are under the spotlight at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.

The Commission will continue its hearings at the Brigitte Mabandla Justice College in Pretoria this morning (Monday 3 November 2025).

Various witnesses involved in investigating businessman and murder accused Katiso "KT" Molefe will take the stand this week.

An operation to arrest Molefe took place in Sandhurst, Johannesburg, in December 2024.

He was arrested for the murder of Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart.

The Commission is expected to start at 9:30am.
