Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has been placed on leave of absence, says that in all his stints in public office, he has never been accused of corruption until KwaZulu-Natal Top Cop Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's July media briefing.

Mchunu took the stand before the Madlanga Commission to give his version of events on allegations he faces that flow from evidence that he allegedly disbanded the Political Killings Task Team to shield criminal cartel syndicates, with which he is allegedly in cahoots.
