More than 300 undocumented migrants have been deported at the Maseru and Ficksburg border posts between the Free State and Lesotho over the festive season. The Border management authority says at least 100 people were arrested, while 160 were declared undesirable for attempting to re-enter the country illegally. Some were also found with illicit goods.
The BMA has commended law enforcement agencies, including police and the SANDF, for their cooperation.
