President Cyril Ramaphosa says Mozambique is South Africa's largest trading partner on the African continent and the fourth in the world.
Ramaphosa was addressing a gala dinner in Maputo last night during his two day visit for Bi-National Commission.
He says many South African companies have invested in Mozambique.
He added that the two nations are committed to growing their partnership in a mutually beneficial manner.
