Five people were killed in two separate vehicle accidents in Mpumalanga today. Three people were killed when a minibus taxi overturned on the D799 road between Kaapsehoop and Mbombela. One passenger was critically injured, while four others suffered serious injuries. Meanwhile, a mother and child were killed when a vehicle struck them while they were crossing the N12 road in Delmas.
