N4 crash claims seven lives

Seven people have been killed in a head-on collision on the N4 toll road between Machadodorp and Belfast, Mpumalanga in the early hours of Saturday morning.

One occupant suffered serious injuries and is fighting for his life at the Belfast Hospital.

According to preliminary investigations, overtaking and excessive speed shows the possible factors for the accident.

Over a hundred-people have been killed so far on the Mpumalanga roads since the beginning of the month.
