Operations were halted at the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality in Mahikeng in the North West, due to a raid by law enforcement officers today. Police from SAPS National cold case investigators, and the Special Task Force unit closed the gates of the building and conducted a search. They reportedly targeted the offices of the Executice Mayor, the Municipal Manager, and the Chief Financial Officer amongst others. It's unclear what led to this raid.
