Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi has been arrested by the Independent Police Investigating Directorate (IPID). He was arrested in connection with the alleged theft of precious stones worth R14.9 million from a property in Killarney.
