Two Kimberley friends who have achieved the highest honours in university debating are giving back to young minds in the Northern Cape.
Mbulelo Gobo and Kerapetse Booi founded the Northern Cape Schools Debating Association in 2020.
Five years after ploughing their resources and time into the project, their efforts are paying off.
Two weeks ago, the Association fielded two high school debating teams at the 2025 National Debating Championships in the Free State, who nearly tasted victory.
