The National Prosecuting Authority has asked the Pietermaritzburg High Court to order that former President Jacob Zuma's arms deal corruption trial must proceed, despite pending appeals.
The so-called Stop Stalingrad application comes amidst an application by Zuma and the French arms manufacturer, Thales, for leave to appeal Judge Nkosinathi Chili's earlier dismissal of their application for acquittal.
