Table Mountain National Park has been welcoming more visitors than ever before.
As an open access park with countless entries around the city of Cape Town, it is a monumental task to patrole the area.
To this end, the number of rangers have doubled over the last two years to over a hundred, as well as an increase in the number of the specialised Sea, Air and Mountain team.
A hot, windy summer is expected in the city, and people are cautioned to be extremely careful not to make or cause the start of fires.
