Government will intensify efforts of protecting whistle-blowers. That's the word from President Cyril Ramaphosa, following the fatal shooting of Marius Van der Merwe known as witness D, who testified before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry last month. Van der Merwe told the Madlanga Commission probing political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system that suspended EPMD Deputy Police Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi ordered a murder cover-up and the dumping of the body.
