Health services in the North West are under scrutiny following an oversight visit by Deputy Health Minister Dr Joe Phaahla to facilities in Mahikeng.
Joined by Health MEC Sello Lehari, the delegation assessed conditions at the town's Provincial Hospital and Bophelong Psychiatric Hospital among others.
The visit highlighted serious concerns, including poor service delivery, staff shortages and aging infrastructure.
