Plastic Wastes Cause Environmental Issue In Cape Town

Published
Cape Town has a new environmental issue that seems to be creeping up at municipal land fill sites around the city. A significant amount of plastic waste is ending up at these drop off sites, due to the large amount of bottled water being purchased by residents. The low level 6b water restrictions associated with the drought has meant that each person is allowed just 50 liters of water a day. That amount has led to many ditching their taps to drink only from plastic bottles. CGTN's Travers Andrews tells us more
