Police heavy-handedly break youth march demanding job opportunities in Lesotho

Lesotho youth were met with rubber bullets, tear gas and sjamboks as they attempted to deliver a petition to Lesotho's parliament on Friday. The youth had mobilized for a massive city shut down, and a march to parliament to raise their concerns demanding that unemployment be declared a national crisis. They were also demanding a total overhaul to the education funding model.
