Pope Leo the 14th has appointed Bishop Sithembele Anton Sipuka as the new Archbishop of Cape Town.

Bishop Sipuka was serving as the Bishop of Mthatha Diocese in the Eastern Cape.

He succeeds Cardinal Stephen Brislin, who has been Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Cape Town since October 2024.

Bishop Sithembele Anton Sipuka joins us now from Mthatha, Eastern Cape.
