The race to find the country’s next National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) is facing a legal hurdle. This as the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has received an urgent application filed by B Xulu and Partners Inc, seeking to interdict the appointment of the National Director of Public Prosecutions. The said South African law firm is led by attorney Barnabas Xulu, who filed an objection against the candidacy of former inaugural IDAC, Investigating Directorate Head, Advocate Hermione Cronje during the interviews which were held by the Advisory Panel earlier this month as the NPA top job is expected to be vacant at the end of January next year.
