Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Dada Morero, says the third and final phase of Rand Water's planned maintenance programme is scheduled for the 6th to the 8th of January. Morero says the upgrade will cause temporary water supply disruptions in some areas in Johannesburg. He has indicated that areas, including the Roodeport Deep reservoir, Fleurhof reservoir, Doornkop reservoir, Meadowlands reservoir and Braamfischer reservoir, will be impacted during this phase. Morero was briefing the media in Johannesburg alongside the Environment and Infrastructure Services MMC, Jack Sekwaila, and other senior officials from Johannesburg Water.
