Residents of Ngxongweni in Port St Johns, Eastern Cape, have been left shocked after a mass migration of millipedes from a nearby forest into their homesteads. Thousands of the rare white species invaded homes, forcing some residents to vacate temporarily. Trees, walls, and rooftops were covered, prompting authorities to deploy experts to identify the species, and determine the cause of the invasion. SABC News reporter, Nkululeko Nyembezi, filed this report.
