The South African Navy says this week's multi-national maritime exercise, WILL FOR PEACE 2026, which takes place in South African waters, is aimed at skills and knowledge transfer as well as strengthening anti-piracy capabilities. Navies from BRICS Plus countries, including China, Iran and Russia, are part of the joint maritime safety operations and drills. The exercise hosted by South Africa, and led by the People's Republic of China includes Chinese, Iranian and Russian destroyers. Here's Defence expert, Dean Wingrin.
