The Southern Hemisphere's largest optical telescope, which is based in the Northern Cape, is expected to make many more discoveries. SALT - the Southern Africa Large Telescope, celebrated twenty years of being in operation today (Monday). It's responsible for a number of new discoveries, from Black holes to observing a kilonova. Senior reporter, Ulrich Hendriks and video journalist, Thapelo Kgomotshwane filed this report.
