Ngqamakhwe SAPS in the Eastern Cape have opened a criminal case following the circulation of a viral video depicting minors consuming alcohol on Christmas Day. The incident allegedly involved five children, aged between 12 and 8. Police are investigating a case of Contravention of the National Liquor Act (Act 59 of 2003) – specifically for supplying or making liquor available to minors.
