SAPS National Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola and Western Cape Police top brass are presiding over an operation to destroy confiscated liquor.

The operation forms part of SAPS's Festive Season operations.

Police are also expected to conduct targeted crime-fighting operations in identified gang hotspots across the Cape Flats.
