Thursday has been declared a national day of mourning in Senegal, for those killed in anti-government protests.
The unrest was sparked when police detained opposition politician Ousmane Sonko last week.
He has told Al Jazeera he has committed no crime.

Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque spoke to him in the capital, Dakar.
