Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Tommy Mthombeni says multi-disciplinary task teams have been following information on robberies around Gauteng, which led them to the robbery of two courier vehicles today.
Two suspects were fatally wounded and another injured during a shootout with police and private security in Kempton Park on Gauteng's East Rand.
Mthombeni says as the suspects drove to the R25, police tried abut failed to stop them, which led to a shootout.
