In a stunning turn of events in South African football, it has been revealed that Monnapule Saleng has joined league champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Saleng, known for his explosive pace and exceptional skill on the ball, was a standout performer in the Betway Premiership in the colours of Pirates.
This season he rejoined former club Orbit College but he has struggled to regain the form that made him a household name in local football.
The Tshwane giants confirmed the unexpected move on Friday, announcing that the 27-year-old winger will join the star-studded Sundowns squad for the remainder of the 2025/26 season via their official social media platforms.
His first game for his new club will be when Sundowns face Orbit College on the 19th.
