Some small businesses surveyed in the Small Business Growth Index report, plan to increase their prices by up to 10% over the next six months.

This, as they battle rising transport, utility and input costs.

The information is contained in the latest SBGI report published by Absa and the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SACCI.

The report found that of the surveyed respondents, only 38% believe they can survive for more than a year under current conditions without external support.
