Parents at the Soweto District, in the south of Johannesburg say they are anxious over the placement of their children for the 2020 academic year.
Over 800 parents say the Soweto District of the Department of Education has allegedly not begun the process of placement, despite having received SMS messages alerting them to accept offers made by the Department.
The deadline was last Thursday. The Department is yet to respond to the claims.
